This compact 5” santoku is a master of precision work and medium-sized cutting tasks, featuring a shorter blade and smaller handle than its larger 7” counterpart. The Japanese word, “Santoku” means “three uses” and refers to the knife’s multifunction ability, as a slicer, dicer, and mincer. It combines the best of a chef’s knife and a cleaver wrapped in one; featuring premium materials, construction and design, giving you the flexibility you need in the kitchen. Featuring a beautiful, ergonomic and ambidextrous food-grade ABS Polymer handle, the Gladiator Series santoku knife is carefully designed for maximum comfort and maneuverability.

The knife is as pleasing to hold as it is to look at, featuring a perfectly engineered balance with satisfying heft and presence. Perfectly weighted to handle both thicker, heavy-duty cuts and more delicate detail work. The hand-polished bolster adds counterweight and offers finger protection, while the triple rivets (with signature Dalstrong center rivet) in the handle ensure the highest level of strength and robustness.
